Palekana Ministry

The Hawaiian word “palekana” translates to “not in danger” or “to be safe and protected.” This definition reflects the ministry’s ultimate goal in providing a welcoming and safe environment for all parishioners during masses and parish-related organized activities.

We are in need of volunteers who will provide assistance should any unsafe, hostile, or emergency situations arise during Mass.  If you are interested in learning more about the Palekana Ministry, please email palekana@rcchawaii.org.
